William Pike

William Pike is an inspirational kiwi who has been on one hell of a journey -  from being critically injured in a volcanic eruption, to starting a youth development programme, to recently climbing mountains in Antarctica. Be prepared to relive this gripping, tear jerking, and hilarious journey on the edge of your seat.

Through sharing real life stories and his keys to success, William will encourage you to be passionate, resilient, and work as a team to climb your mountain and be the best you can be.

William has an infectious enthusiasm for adventure, life and fun. His character and outlook on life are nicely summed up by the title of his popular autobiography, Every Day’s A Good Day.

Today William is the face of a youth development programme called William Pike Challenge Award, with a vision to grow resilient, confident and connected kiwi kids. Since 2013 the programme has made a positive impact on thousands of youth and close to 100 communities across the country.

As an accomplished motivational speaker, an author, an amputee, 2015 Young New Zealander of the year finalist and an international role model – William is a leader and an achiever who resonates passion and success without limits.

Sharon and Allan Cohrs

Everest One are an Australian based company providing clients with fantastic adventure opportunities. Experienced mountaineers Allan and Sharon Cohrs started the business after their long-term relationship with the Himalayas and its people.

In 2007 their active lives were rocked by the news that Sharon had breast cancer. At the time they were preparing for a climb of Mount Aconcagua in South America, when the news came. Instantly, strength sessions and endurance training were traded for surgery and chemotherapy. Plans for a family were put on hold as their focus shifted to fighting for Sharon's life.

By her side every step of the way, Allan stood beside his incredibly tough wife on top of the world.  Sharon had become the first breast cancer survivor in the world to climb to the summit of Mt Everest and together they became the 1st Australian couple.

Sometimes it can take an unexpected event to ignite the flame and unleash your potential. We can all be guilty of complacency and sailing through life with our blinkers on. Before you know it, time passes you by and you wonder where the years have gone.
